First time manager

A manager at last! But after the initial motivation, disillusionment can quickly follow. Suddenly, all the expertise that an employee has brought to the leadership role is no longer the most important thing.

Young managers often get the chance to learn the theory of leadership in appropriate seminars. And yet it is something different to play out a situation in the seminar room or to actually experience it live.

And often junior managers have an unfounded fear of asking their own manager for advice.

Short coaching sessions help them to recognise and formulate their own and others’ expectations. This also includes removing the fear of “not knowing” and seeking contact with one’s own manager. Furthermore, they support the new leader in motivating and inspiring the team well and in setting priorities correctly.
